Powering Progress, One Hole at a Time

About Us

O’Brien Bros began in 1998 with one man and a shovel, hand-digging pole holes across the Lower Mainland. What started small has grown into one of BC’s most trusted names in utility excavation. In 2001, we added our first Hydrovac truck, evolving with the industry to offer safe, precise excavation services across the province. Today, we combine decades of field experience with modern equipment to handle complex jobs—whether it’s hand-digging, remote access, or Hydrovac excavation.

In 2013, longtime team member Jarred Harp took ownership of the company. Under his leadership, O’Brien Bros has continued to grow while staying grounded in the values that built it: hard work, integrity, and getting the job done right.Based in Langley, BC, we proudly serve communities across British Columbia.
